Havent seen a thread pop up for it yet! Whos in?

I checked the WEGC calendar and there doesn't seem to be any events that weekend so there should be plenty of room.

Mosin Volley perhaps? Or a course of fire for C&R guns like was mentioned last month?

I will try to get some Toblerone chocolate in honor of the Toblerone Line (Swiss anti-tank defensive line during WWII). That way, we can do a proper Swiss volley.

I'm planning on being out there unless my schedule changes up on me.

I'm a full member, but I'm not sure if I will have any of my guest spots open. I've been meaning get my dad and brother out to this shoot. I'll keep you updated as to the status of that.

Hello everyone!
I'm coming back from a Baltic tour tomorrow (Russia was awesome!), so I don't know next week's schedule. If it allows, I will be at the shoot. It's time to shoot the No.4T, PU and SVT again.

My bad :D. How about a competition of one shot at the gong at 100 yards and if you miss you are out. It should not take too long to narrow down the field to a few shooters. A very simple competition. All non scoped rifles welcome.

OK shooters bring your best shooter and we will see what happens. If anybody has a C&R part or or something that we can pass around each shoot as a trophy please bring it. Something of no $$$ value. Trophy must be brought back for the next shoot to be in the hands of the next champion.
I hope the most beat up mongrel C&R wins :D

Wear the Swiss Army watch and attach a Swiss Army knife for a bayonet and you'll be good to go.

I made a Trophy  for our little C&R match Sunday. One shot at the gong until only one person left. Take it home for the month, until the next shoot. Please be sure to bring it back [ It is not worth anything :) ] or give it to one of us to bring it to the shoot. It only took me about 1 1/2 hrs to make so do not expect much :D.
If somebody has the talent to make a depiction of the broad side of a barn that would be a perfect trophy .

A big congrats to Enfield47 for taking home our first ever gong trophy for our competition while shooting his M1 Garand. I think the three of us in the final round could have shot that smaller target until we ran out of ammo.

I was sandwiched between his M1 and my buddy who was also was using an M1 through several rounds. I used a French MAS-36 since that's what I had on the bench at the time. It came down to us three shooting off-hand to determine a winner because we weren't missing the target even after we shot at one that was half the size of the first.

To those who participated, please list the gun you used and how many rounds you lasted. I couldn't see all the way down the line to see who was shooting what.

I'll start -

cwilliams: MAS-36, final round
Fred (my guest): M1 Garand, final round

Another great shoot, the weather was great. I think we had about 9 or 10 shooters in our little contest. I had so much fun putting it on i did not compete. The last 3 competitors were killing it. we had to change to standing to end the thing. from the bench all they were doing is use up ammo :)that French MAS gave the Garands a good run.We missed the regulars that could not make it this time. nice variety of C&Rs as usual. We got a pic of Endfield holding his winning M1 and the trophy he owns till the next shoot. We had a volley fire as usual, great fun had by all.

Another great shoot and I had a good time seeing what guns were brought out to play. Cwilliams' MAS36 was killing it all morning, a very nice shooter - now I want one too. Thanks to Jimja for letting me shoot his Enfield revolvers, and thanks to Saki for supplying the ammo. :)

I somehow got lucky and ended up with the best shot trophy. John did a great job in constructing it and it looks great! Cwilliams and Fred were great shots with their rifles and I was shocked one of them didn't take it. Here is a pic of the me with the trophy (I was the only one with a camera at the time).

I'm actually really surprised how well that MAS-36 can shoot. It's not a sub-moa paper puncher, but boy does it stay consistent if you do your part. The French would have done a fair amount of damage if they had that gun in WWI.
