Default Decent vid of Socom/AR/AK/Mini

Found this video and I thought it was a decent vid showing how stable the Socom II platform can be during rapid fire strings....

Looks like the 16" barrel and extra heft of the rifle (and the brake) all contribute to make it pretty stable.

I wish you could get a .223 M1A that was about 80% the size of the .308 but otherwise identical...

Basically what the Mini14 SHOULD have been, lol.

Ill settle w/my .223 Saiga for now.

The SocomII was just to heavy for me....I bought the 16 instead. I woulda got the II if we could have forward grips...but alas, not so.

Although the extra mass of the SOCOM II does contribute to the lack of recoil, I believe the design of the muzzle brake is directly responsible.

cool, though the handgun action was very bad form.

Put a muzzle brake on the Mini-14 and there might not be that much of a difference in recoil with the SOCOM

I'm sorry to break this to you but the muzzle breaks on SA M1A's suck. There are breaks out there that are much much better.

I would say the SOCOM one is far better than the others, but it still could improve. Women shoot the SOCOM with minimal issues. It tames 308 to near 223 levels.
