Default Whats it worth? - Llama Especial .32 ACP

I recently aquired this pistol from a deceased relative. It is too small for my hands so I am considering selling it. I also did not find any magazines for it. So what should I ask? Also, do I need to do any kind of paperwork or transfer to myself before I sell the gun? Thanks

not the same caliber but just an idea. See how much that sells for. Good luck.

LLAMA is currently listed as a handgun to avoid in a post on this board. Just thought I'd make you aware.

Please dont spread this crap unless you really know what your talking about. Llama has made some great pistols in the past and have made some real junk. This pistol is one of the better made guns. It might not be as good as an old Belgium Browning pistol but its still a great pistol. It might be hard to find a mag for it, I have some info on a mag company that might make one for this gun.

I found a magazine supplier but they are a little pricey at $32. I haven't fired the gun yet so I don't know what the reliablility is like but stripping it down for cleaning I noticed it seems to have a pretty good fitment of parts, comparable to most base model 1911's.

If you guys have llama's that you don't like, I'm more than happy to take them off your hands.

And since they are such crummy guns I'll buy them from you cheap.

I have one of these in .38 super that is a great gun.

I didn't say it was garbage, I was making a fellow board member aware of a relevant thread that was on the same page. Next time read what I say before bashing.

Post in question. There's a reply shortly thereafter where another board member agrees with that gentleman. I have no personal experience and post it only for your review.

Why do people crap on LLama guns, i have one (1911) with a ventilated rib, it was given to me free, it shoots great, has never jammed, looks cool with that vent-rib, and makes for a great home deffence gun, because if it comes down to me useing it, i wont be to upset if it gets taken away, as its an affordable handgun. Rather shoot an armed intruder with the Llama than a more expensive Sig or HK.

I owned a pistol nearly identical to this one MANY years ago- I bought it at the Great Western show to give you an idea how long!

As far as the .32 goes, recoil is non-existent. A GREAT woman's gun if she doesn' like any snap at all. It'll still tear someone up quite well- the barrel is long for a .32, and velocity is decent.
Mine never had any probelms, and I was shooting Winchester silvertips out of it. I think I paid $150-200 for it, but that was a LONG time ago- I'd check gunbroker.com auctionarms.com and gunsamerica to see what they fetch now.

I had the same problem. I received a Llama as a gift. It had not been carried, cleaned, nor fired in about 25 years. I could not get it to break down. I took it to a gunsmith who charged me $20.00 to give it a good cleaning. Afterward, he took it behind his shop and ran a clip through it; No jams, no misfires, no problems. Everything runs smoothly now. Best $20.00 I have ever spent. I like the looks, the feel, although a bit heavy, and the absence of recoil. (Not at all like my Glock-.45 ACP.) I hope if you will try this it works out well for you..
