Default Pimp guns? What the hell. Lets see your Pimp guns

I'll start, I know, it's not chromed but you just got to think this 1903 colt was owned by a Pimp at one time or another. If you collect long enough you could end up with a few in the back of the safe.

Well it's about the right size, the fat not phat ivory grips with gold inlay of doves. The only thing missing is for it to be chromed or nickel plated. Remember this thin was made in 1924.

Now that is the type of gun I picture a "pimp" carrying. Small enough to be concealed in his vest pocket, but not big enough to be taken seriously.

I was going to post a pic of my Raven .25 with fake pearl handle grips but it can't hold a candle of pimpness to yours. Where can I get pink grips?

This is as pimp as I've got. I am going to make a set of koa grips for it which may add a little pimpness.

Not mine -- this was at the Desert Eagle booth at the SHOT show and I asked the guy, "could you kill a pimp with that?" and he was just flummoxed and couldn't answer. Of course the answer is "yes."

Not going to violate Gun Blast's copyright, but though you might like to see this one:

http://gunblast.com/images/SHOT2005/Day1/DSC06243.jpg

Actually, I looked at a nickel plated Rock Island Arms 1911 with pearl grips at my local gun store the other day and I was tempted. I can afford the gun, but buying the mink hat and the lime green suit to go with it would bust me!

I don't think "doves" qualify as pimp material.

I wanted to take my wife to a defensive handgun class. Her condition to go was she had to have a "pretty gun" like mine (she likes my 1911's, but hates glocks) in 9mm (45 acp is a bit rough for her). So I bought a Rock Island 38 super and a bunch of Wilson and Fusion parts and made a super sweet 9mm. She further defined "pretty" and I went to work with a graver, did a little engine turning, added some gold leaf and duracoat, and ended up with a pimped gun. enjoy

I think that's cool that you would do that for your wife. Can you post some details on the 9mm conversion?

Default 9mm conversion

The conversion was part of the buildup. I bought a Rock Island Armory 1911 in 38 super just so that I could use the frame. The feed angle on the 38 super is the same as for 9mm. I used a Fusion Firearms 9mm slide and match grade barrel. Then Wilson Combat trigger control parts, weighted guide rod, 9mm extractor, and grip safety. Added a 10-8 rear sight and a fiber optic front and the gun is a really sweet shooter. It won't run metalform mags reliably, but It loves cobra mags. I haven't tried the new 9mm ETMs from Wilson, but I think I will pick up a few and see how they do.

1903 Colt 32cal Pocket Pistol with ivory grips. It does not get anymore old school pimp than that!

that is a nice classic! of course it reminds me of my browning inspired, Norinco tokarev 213 B

. for a 'throw away' type pistol, it handled well, shot well, and the slide release of the 'hairpin' type, making it very fast with reloading! the machining inside the pistol was something of a burden, with sharp edges and rough interior making it difficult to clean. but it worked so well i almost never had to clean it anyways. one of the cheapest yet most reliable pistols ive used
