This is a feeler to see if anyone may be interested in a Remington 700 turn-key package.

Why 30.06? It is kind of a strange caliber for a sniper type weapon.

30.06 is readily available.. and to some extent cheaper than .308s due to the large abundance of surplus... etc.... and NOT readily used by NATO or other armed forces throughout the world.

Personally, I think its an awesome round to have a rifle for! But this is just my 0.02.

What's the asking price btw?

30.06 is an excellent hunting round and if your into taking down larger game you will be open to a wider variety of custom loads.30.06 = more take down power.
