Default Those of you that use Loctite

Loctite on Badger Base.

What flavor of Blue do you use?

I am considering #243 for its anti-oil properties.

Along the same lines, do they recommend that you use the loctite to coat the bottom of the base and let it dry before screwing it down onto the rifule, or are they recommending that you put the loctite on the base and allow it to adhere to the rifle while you are screwing it down? Thanks for your thoughts!

I've used #243 as well. Hasn't failed yet (fingers crossed). Some here have suggested nail polish works well.

Use loctite only on the threads. That should be sufficient.
