Default Help needed

Folks, extra help will needed this month with RSO duties since the firing line is now divided and the large group size. Volunteers? I would like four volunteer RSO's this month. Please send me your names so I can plan the resources and cover the introductions during the Safety Briefing.

We will need plates and napkins again since those supplies were running low last month. As has been usual lately, will need help with getting the BBQ going and cooking the offerings. With the monthly raffle and additional quarterly raffle this month, my hands will be full.

Any more fund-raising goodies offered?

Also please bring large trash bags in the event that the range is short of trash cans, or doesn't change them in a timely manner.

Thanks everyone!

David Mc

I will bring the orange Range vest, water, trash bags, food, Family radios and will help with RSO assistance. In other words, I'll work, joke, have fun but not shoot, I'll focus on RSO like in the 1990s.

OH YAH!!!
Anyone wanna trade some old metal AR mags for some new:
Magpul AR15 mags 30R with the spacers inside to make them 10s?
Spacers can be removed to make them 10s 20s or ??
I have 5 to trade! New in package!

2 old mags for 1 new mag?
or what do you have?

████TRADE Ar30R New Magpul mags for OLD Military Metal Mags████

I've got plenty of black contractor bags as well as some large Rubbermaid trashcans that I'll bring. I'm also a pro at getting coals nice and hot, I'll bring all my BBQ toys.

I will be attending. I will be plus one. Not sure on wether or not I can bring something for potluck yet on a fixed income at the moment so money is a bit tight. Will definitely be there for the shoot though.

Propane grills only. Burro does not allow wood or charcoal grills

If we don't make it there until after the safety briefing, will we still be able to shoot?

Thanks much fellows! You volunteers help us run a great shoot.

Could use a few more so they don't get 'burned out'.

Repo4sale, I have two Motorola walkie talkies I will bring if you can get the communications working.

Crazychinaman, I know you are always good for pitching in on the cooking, thanks.

Does one need to be a certified RSO? If not I'll be happy to stand in for a bit... I also have a couple two way radios if we still need more.

If you bring it, they will eat! Sounds wonderful! My thought is to setup the cooking area just out from the new center berm that is now splitting the range into two parts. That's where I will setup the BBQ and tables.

Correct. East 1 is a bare range. You will need to bring pretty much everything. Chairs, tables, canopies, etc.

We could use the radios if you bring them. Get with repo4sale (John), he will have my radios so if they can be set to the same channels, that would be excellent. Thanks.

sorry to hear pigpen

glad we have such a great community - we now have 5 RSO's, looking forward to another great time....i really wonder what i enjoy more seeing my calguns friends, shmoozing and eating THE BEST FOOD or the trigger time?!?! not sure how many in my party yet, but im bringing 4 lbs of marinated chicken kabob. I hope thats enough. speaking of food; please bring anything you are willing to share. I have had the honor to eat some amazing dishes. For example ricky-rays huge fish he caught, some yummy candied bacon that I still dream about, wild boar, deer, elk and other hunted meats (we even have had a battle between three different tasty carne asadas). Again, please bring anything you are willing to share. shrimp, hot wings, ribs, etc and thank you everyone for pitching in!

Sorry to hear that. There is always "next month".

BTW raffle rules (see main post),
"Remember to keep your non-winning raffle tickets for the chance at the quarterly (June, September, December) drawings to win an 'at cost' item from Enterprise/Gun Effects, our sponsor." Winners must be present!.

I was planning on taking my cousin and his 12 yr old daughter. Turns out his son's baseball team won and has another tournament game tomorrow. I won't be making it out this month guys.

Sucks that a lot of the regulars can't make it tomorrow.

I plan on being there tomorrow myself, hopefully I'll see some familiar faces! I haven't been to this shoot in a while.

Yes, Sunday events seem to really mess with scheduling. See you there. All should eat well!

This will be a great opportunity to make new friends!

Definitely if it were up to me, I'd rather have these shoots happen on Saturday, but I understand scheduling and booking private ranges can be tough sometimes.
