If you want something in 50dtc check these out. they have them in 24'', 30", and 36". The 36" just came out. A little over 1350.00 for the upper and you supply a complete lower. Order early because the price will go up 300.00 in a couple months.

They look good especially if youre a fan of the AR rifle. But that's about it. A friend had one and I wasn't impressed, neither was he.

Hey Sydwaiz,
Remember that he wasn't the only one that had trouble with his Cobb 50, Frank from ARM had the same problem. Cobb's reasoning was lame and for the money I would buy a barrett or save up for a Windrunner.

Tony dropped a hint on arfcom that he (Serbu) was delivering BFG50A's, I would call and ask to be 100%.

Of course you'll need it in .50 DTC if you didn't get a receiver prior to the ban and you might have to wait to see what he does about the mag. It's either going to be a BB or swing action like the Barrett.

These are banned here in CA right? Or is there a loophole on 50 Cal rifles as well?

Ahhh, new round....510 DTC that is also called .50 DTC and is legal here, gonna have to look up the price of that ammo and see what the reviews for the performance of that round. This is all new to me, but then again I was so absorbed with the AR platform for the past 2 years I hardly paid attention to anything else. Just got into preision .308 rifles.

the Cobb/Bushmaster FA50 would only be banned if in 50BMG. Another other chambering that would not allow a .50BMG to chamber would be legal, such as the .50DTC, and is exempt from the .50MBG rifle ban.

mrkubota is a licensed ammo manufacturer and make .510DTC rounds for under $3 a shot depending on what bullet-type you want. As for performance, basically the same as the BMG.
