Just a notification to those who may be interested in purchasing these barrels from this individual.
He advertises a 9" barrel, but ships a 7" barrel.
Not that I have any issues with the rest of his stuff, or the way the barrels fit, but I do believe that if you are going to pay for an advertised product, you should receive the product that was advertised.
To switch barrels without telling me, or without even asking me if it's ok to do so, is to me, a "bait and switch" operation, unscrupulous, immoral, and in the end is cheating his customers out of what they really paid for.
The 7" barrel may indeed work for it's intended use, but that is not the issue. The issue is that I paid for an advertised product and received something different.
When asked, he demanded that I return the 7" barrel before he could ship me the 9" barrel.
Ummm..... I already don't trust you or your business practices, why would I let go of a barrel before I got it's replacement?? (I don't think so, pal)

So, in the end, "Caveat Emptor".

There are many scams on this website and on the internet. BE AWARE of who you do business with before you do business with them.

Had someone else posted a review such as the one I am posting, I may not have done business with this guy.

Simply take a look at how many posts this individual has vs mine.
Additionally take a look at his Itrader vs mine.

All the barrels are 9"

As much as I would have every client happy, some will not be no matter how much you would like them to be.
Demanded??...... I guess asking a client to please return the item and I would pay for his shipping and replace it when I got some more made was demanding.

How you view my business practices David Matthews does not allow for you to try and intimidate through threats and insults. You crossed the line with that behavior through your pms to me.

More time spent checking out the model making. I can not help myself with my sincere enjoyment of this form of hobby. Here in this days link is the work of a true artist who seems to work with dioramas. Incredible mastery of this form. Completely original work. Not that I am any expert, but I feel if you check out his site and the image gallery to the right you will see what I saw.... Amazing!!

Dune......... Everything anyone would want to know about the movie.
Such a huge budget at the time.. Tom Cruise, Costner and some others tried out for parts.
Quote:
The film was not well received by critics and performed poorly at the American box office. Upon its release, Lynch distanced himself from the project, stating that pressure from both producers and financiers restrained his artistic control and denied him final cut privilege. At least three different versions have been released worldwide. In some cuts, Lynch's name is replaced in the credits with the name Alan Smithee, a pseudonym used by directors who wished not to be associated with a film for which they would normally be credited.

Stephen W Barnett was born in Nottingham in 1956. I was always good at art and history at school, and have had a passion for making models from as early as I can remember. And my interest in cars and motor racing started in childhood with a Scalextric circuit and wanting to make my cars faster than those of my friends! But in the early 1970’s I started to take model making more seriously, building, modifying, and scratch building model soldiers, and winning many awards and trophies along the way.
