1-6x Vortex Razor HD II. But only once they get a new reticle. The mikulek reticle is weak. They're apparently coming out with some new options here pretty soon.

I wouldnt go high power because it's not a long range weapon. Still a short to medium range in my book....

I was going to put my SWFA 3-9 on mine but I am staring to think I will sell it and go the 1-6 route.

I just don't think the weight will be worth it.

I was considering buying the Leupold Mark AR Mod 1 with Mil Dot just because of its low weight. It's a 3 -9 power and 12.4oz

On my REPR I am running a Leupold MK6 3-18x with an Aimpoint T1 at a 45* good for close to 1000+ yards. I was running a Vortex 1-6x but wanted more mag.

If you're used to shooting bigger calibers at longer ranges it kind of is.

10x max with a good useable low end like 2.5x is great for a semi auto .308. Add an offset dot and you've basically got a 1-10x setup.

Define "bigger calibers" and "longer ranges". The 308win is a pretty tried and true round that a TON of people shoot. Is 1000+ yards not longer distance?
With your logic of adding a red dot to a 10x scope equaling a 1-10x then with my T1 & MK6 I am at a 1-18x. PLENTY of scope to reach out and touch something.

Bigger calibers and longer ranges means exactly what it says. If you need more magnification to shoot that far, that's fine. No reason to feel so insecure. I never said it wasn't a good round. Geez
