Default First ar.

After a bit of nudging from another member I figured I would post up my first build. I started this February 6th with my order to psa for there premium 16 in barreled upper and lpk with b5 grip and stock. I spent 611.00$ here. Next I went to my local shop and purchased a pwa aluminum lower, cmmg rail, mako afg, 200 rounds of xm193 and 2 magpul 10 round pmags at a total of 269.00$ please note I rounded up to the nearest dollar but at 880$ total on this build I am extremely happy.

Took it out to the range today and while I am no crack shot I was happy with the initial results. 50/50 on the paper at 90 yards in the standing position with all rounds striking the man shaped target. Here is the current picture.

Welcome to the club! Just know that there is no cure for BRD...aka black rifle disease. Symptoms include the need to keep multiplying your black rifle collection..lol enjoy!

You're better of with a $400 .308 unless you plan on taking out taliban from 2000 yards away haha

Good job sir. I'm afraid I am somewhat responsible for spreading the disease to you. I warned you....I think.

I would be pretty mad if half my shots weren't hitting paper at 90 yards for $800

Yeah lol. I only had the time to put 50 through it today. Hoping to get back out soon and pump through another 100 or so and look at improving the actual groupings and maintaining better control instead of feeling giddy everytime I pulled the trigger lol!

When he says 50/50 he means 50 out of 50-100 percent. Not half and half.

Bananajacksonthe 3rd,

When you shoot I usually test my rifles for reliability first by putting around 200 rounds down range first before shooting for target. Take your time.
