PTS Shotgun 1 - March 15, 2014 @ ASR
Come train with us on SATURDAY, March 15, 2014 @ 8:00am at Angeles Shooting Ranges located at 12651 Little Tujunga Canyon, Eagles Nest "C" Lake View Terrace, CA 91342.
The cost of the class is $125.00 (8:00am to 1:00pm). For those who do not have a shotgun, we can provide you with a rental for the cost of $40.00 (ammunition cost is extra and not included).

The following will be covered in SHOTGUN 1:
-Bird shot & buck shot patterning
-Single target engagements
-Shooting from low ready, ready and high ready positions
-After action drills
-Multiple target engagements
-Shooting on the move
-Long range, select-slug/slug changeover drills
-Shotgun to handgun transitions ********
-Assault course incorporating the above skills
******** IF YOU HAVE TAKEN A HANDGUN COURSE AND ARE PROFICIENT WITH DRAWING FROM THE HOLSTER, WE WILL ASSESS YOUR ABILITY AND MAY COVER THIS TOPIC ACCORDINGLY. TO THAT END, PLEASE BRING A SEMI AUTOMATIC HANDGUN, 9MM OR HIGHER CALIBER WITH A KYDEX HOLSTER, 3 MAGAZINES, A MAG POUCH AND A STURDY BELT TO CLASS ALONG WITH 50 ROUNDS OF HANDGUN AMMUNITION.
Clients should have eye and ear protection (we'll provide ear protection if you don't have any). A shotgun (tactical length preferred) in good working order. A hat and sun screen. Cargo pants are recommended. A small bag to carry your equipment. Clothing for seasonal weather. Adequate water and snack/lunch.
-Side saddle shotshell carrier (Mesa Tactical or ESSTAC)
-160 rounds of birdshot
-40 rounds 00 buckshot
A good holster (preferably kydex), sturdy belt and magazine carrier (with belt loops). A semiautomatic handgun (9mm or higher caliber). At least 3 magazines and 50 rounds of factory ammunition.
