We have SFP scopes that are true mils at 10X.
Either way the BDC on the ACSS reticles is dead on and I personally check all samples against our charts and the range. We take pride in having superior reticles and dead on BDC. I have spent a life time of shooting and knowledge to create the ACSS system.

That 1-4 leupold scope is great , the ACSS reticle would be nice to have in it.

China can make cheap crap air-soft scopes and military grade optics. It all depends on the quality and specs you request and QC you make them accountable for. We use the same factory's as some of the top brands in the industry. Just about every company besides high end several thousand optics make their optics over seas. These are solid well made optics and not the cheap throw away optics that became target practice. Our micros and other optics have been around for years now with an excellent record. We test and test our products and are known for the best CS period. Good luck finding an optic at our specs under $1000+ not made over seas. (Parakalo)

I understand & I'm not knocking your optics line one bit. Whenever possible, I try to buy American made products. Even if that means I'll have to spend $2K for a similar product. But when I do buy it, I'll buy it from you guys. Your customer service is first class.

We are looking to put these reticles in very high end or military grade optics with the price tag to match. The bottom line is this scope, due to the ACSS HUD reticle will easily out perform even the most expensive optics out there. The reticle is laser edged there are no moving parts. In order to make the shots you see on the reticle you would need a spotter a $2000 laser range finder 2 calculators and some impressive knob turning or mil holding and a few years of sniper school training lol. This scope will retail around $300 dollars. You mentioned spending $2000 for a similar product like what? The ACSS is patented.

I use it to estimate range and hold overs, I am still learning as I am not that quick with the math. . Luckily, I only shoot out to 300 yards, so that is helping me a little bit. I really like your new scope, and since I have already had to send my current scope in for warranty repair, I am thinking of getting yours for my 308 bolt action, I just have not read up on the MIL system, I am confused enough.

I'm in the same boat. Never really done any long range shooting over 200. I read the sticky mil vs moa, but I was still lost. We need a group class/range day to teach the basics...lol(free of course)

Default Introduction of Primary Arms 4-14FFP ACSS .308/.223 HUD

LOL free ACSS class on me.

Say you shoot at a target and see where your round hit. Put the crosshair on it and count how many mils low u are like a ruler and then dial it
in. So if you are 2 mils low dial in 2 mils up.
To range a target at unknown distance
all you do is this. Lets say a 10" target

So 10"x the magic number 27.778 = 277.78
Now all you do is place the mil scale on it and see how many mils cover the target. Lets say 2
277.78 divided by 2 =138.89 yards away.

Long story short just buy the ACSS system lol
all the math is pre done. I have spent a lifetime shooting and have mastered the mil system and turned it to a pre milled or calculated solution the ACSS. Its funny to hear some people say "oh its too busy for me" they have no clue what it takes to be able to range and engage a target even while moving. The data and math behind that would blow your mind!
The great thing about this is all you do is dial in at 50-100-200 yards depending on barrel length and the reticle does all the work for you. I highly recommend an anti cant device.

Leupy or NF. I know they're not 100% US made, but the majority is. But whatever, your product kicks butt no doubt, I've just made up my mind to buy American as much as I can.

I am up for a class. . You make it sound so easy, I usually only shoot steel and use 150 grain ammo since I am not looking to put bullet over bullet, will ACSS system work with that ammo? My rifle is a Savage 10 FCP-K in 308.

I was preparing myself to spend $600+ for a scope that will get me and my Remington 700 to 600yds. It sounds like this will do it. I just need to learn how to use it.

When is the class? Put something solid together. Proof of purchase required. Do it in NorCal!

I'll tell ya, I would LOVE a MOA/MOA unit or something comparable. I don't think it would have to have too many markings if you went something like 10MOA hash marks. It may not be perfect, but it would be similar to a MIL setup that way. It would be more for battle oriented shooting, such as center mass, not necessarily ''Precision shooting". I You could do a .308 reticle for 100-800 yards which would be perfect for a LOT of folks shooting styles. I know a lot more guys shooting 400-800 than 1k+ especially for a beginner scope which I feel like this is geared toward. I think it would be a killer budget scope as such, and a viable alternative to a nightforce, Vortex PST, or even a Falcon Menace for the price.

Thanks for making outstanding products at reasonable prices, and I will likely buy the 1-6 ACSS very soon. Thanks again, and this is just food for thought. I just CAN'T get into the Mil/Mil units for some reason. I'm pretty well stuck on the imperial measurement system.

There are roughly 3.5 moa to a mil so if it went to 10 it would be a bit spaced. You guys like the moa system that bad ill come up with something but it would not out for a while.

When I say I'll take it in the Smilie up there, I really mean it to. I will buy one if you come up with one in MOA because it would be going on a great gun I am waiting to put something decent on.

So you want the same ACSS HUD but with moa turrets?

Correct, MOA turrets 1/4moa turn specifically, and MOA markings ie; above cheveron 100, next hash, 200, next hash, 300, etc. The lead could still be in the same spots and I am sure others could figure that out anyway, and I think it would be good for the MOA user to be able to have it marked out a little better for MOA use. BDC in .308 would essentially be the same, but with possibly more hash marks in the unused space that are smaller lines designating MOA or something along line thoses. You've obviously thought this out pretty well and I'm sure with more than 30 seconds I could too, but you get the general idea. I like MOA as it tends to be more precise, but there is more rotation of the knobs, and I understand the drawbacks too. I've always been a big fan of the Viper PST series in their MOA line. Anyway, you get the idea.

What about the moa that share POI with BDC?
We can do MOA turrets but don't see placing MOA marks on BDC at some point they line up with the crosshair. 30 seconds lol it took me about 20 years of shooting/reloading and untold hours of studying sniper formulas, engagements and competitions. I lost track of hours SIM testing, what your looking at is the F22 Raptor of reticles
its capabilities are far and beyond anything conceived before and its still evolving!

Oh, I was meaning that as a compliment, so no offense. Sorry if it came off brash. I know you've been at it a long time now and your products show it. I figure that it took a long time and I guess was just looking for MOA turrets then if the BDC is ultimately the same. Just one less thing to have to try and get used to. Thanks brother, and keep up the good products.

When does the 5.5-25 come out? Seriously a contender for the Vortex Viper I have on my 5R right now.

Viper is a great scope but you would have to know how to use it. What MOA are you using for 600 yards with a 7.5 mph wind? How would you know your target is 600 yards to begin with?what if the target started to move?

A Viper with a ACSS HUD would be interesting.
