Looks like it cleared out my record. Kicked me to the info screen and then only offered Initial Appt. Are there Final Issue and Mods available?

Booked my final issuance appointment for Feb 19th. I've been waiting for new appoints since about early Dec... I check like 2-3 times a day as well. Maybe I was just unlucky this time around as I didn't think it was taking anywhere near that long before

But it's great they have new appointments up.

Darn. Would be cool to make the final issuance appt. I'm only at 36 days since my livescan and no email yet. I know I have awhile to go. But I promise not to break the rules scheduling an appointment early by guessing. You folks that got your final email, go get that license! But if you can't make that appt? Please cancel, so we can grab it! Best of luck!

Trying to set up a final issuance appointment and all I get is the January Calendar. I can't pick any dates and it will not roll forward to the next month. Anyone else having this issue??

The Fing has not been determined to be illegal. Since it's not addressed in the Penal Code one way or the other, the Fing is still legal.

Small parking lot. Maybe 20 stalls? I parked next door in a business complex just to the west. Plenty of spots there. New building is nice. Quick appt (renewal) handed me new permit and I was gone. Easy and painless.

I was able to get in for one of the early appointments yesterday. Amber and the other staff seem to be ramping to acommodate everyone. My processor was shadowed by a trainee. My renewal was pretty darn quick and it's nice to walk out with permit in hand.

Have they started issuing credit card sized CCW permits yet? vs the "I just typed it on a 30 year old typewriter and laminated over it?"

What's with the absolute obsession in some quarters with a credit card sized LTC? Jeez.

Cannot consume alcohol while carrying or be at establishment that primarily sells alcohol. Also, if contacted by LE you have to show your license and tell them you are carrying.

How do you figure? The PC says he must process apps and give a decision within a certain time frame.

It also says he can't add new "hoops" for people to jump through.

Oh you mean it hasn't been determined by a Court to be illegal. No doubt, the "smart people" at CGF will get him to comply.

No, I meant something else. Fings are not illegal to my knowledge.
