no fingers appear to be blown off to me. 40 cal straight through the palm.

finger wasnt blown off, it was amputated later.

Wasn't too bad to look at but a good reminder.

THERE IS NO REASON TO HAVE A BODY PART, OR PERSON, IN FRONT OF THE MUZZLE WHEN PULLING THE TRIGGER WHEN NOT IN A SELF DEFENSE SITUATION.

Didn't click on the link, after reading don't think I want to. Was he taking apart a Glcok when it happened, you do have to pull the trigger to get those little puppies apart?

That will haunt me everytime I disassemble/hanlde/clean my pistols (very useful dont get me wrong)

You guys think that was a 40cal JHP or FMJ? My guess would be a JHP but what do I know, I'm still typing with two factory hands.

FMJ or JHP, hard to tell. But forsurely a Painfull accident.

And yes you have to pull the trigger on a glock to diassemble it.

I think I will print that picture out on nice photo paper and tape it up to my wall where I work on my guns.

Yup 3 DAO i know that you need to dry fire to pull off the slide XD, sigma and glock

you know how when you get hurt at first it doesnt hurt, only when you realize what happened? I cant just picture this guy going to town on the disassembly. pulls trigger BANG!!! "OH ****" He screams as he realizes he had an ND. Sees hand "OH ****TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
