Maybe a single stack 9mm??

With the CA roster and microstamping, there will not be anything new added to the roster for a very, very long time (if ever).

Some are speculating that it will be a .380.

They'd be stupid if they didn't get into the single stack, sub compact range.

Shot show should be it's debut. I haven't found any other info.

.380. And the 40 or 41 will be a g34 esque 45acp.

Rumor is the Glock 42 is a single-stack .380ACP subcompact pistol for the pocketgun market.

.380 I have no interest in. A 9mm single stack I would buy in a heartbeat.

Since they are now being made in the USA all evidence points to 380

Offer me a single stack Glock in 9mm with equal size to a Kahr and I'll buy it in a heart beat too.

Been waiting on this, I can't believe they have maintained the secret this long. If it's .380 Glock really dropped the ball and it will be a monumental failure.
But if they did it right and it's a 9mm, giddy up I want one. I have been looking for something to replace my PM9 pocket gun for 5 years. There is nothing in 9 small enough or reliable enough to do that yet. Just hoping the Glock is more PM9 size and less Shield size. PM9 is the only one really small enough for front pocket carry.

I doubt anything can fail worse than .45 GAP did.

I think a small glock 380 would sell very well.

I'm hoping it's a tiny, single stack .45 GAP just to piss everyone off

Maybe on the streets of Oakland as a "bridge gun." I don't see the demand for it.

I'm not even a Glock shooter but if the 42 is a single stack sub-comp 9mm, I might have a new concealed carry.

Why is that? There's a huge market for micro .380's that's easily as big as the market for tiny 9mm's. Ruger LCP, Taurus TCP, Kahr 380 versions, Kel-Tec P3AT, S&W Bodyguard 380, Diamondback, and lots of others have been selling like hot cakes for years. There are hundreds of thousands owned in the U.S. Beretta is releasing its Pico soon, although admittedly it did a tiny niney (Nano) first. Despite a micro .380 Glock being late to the market, I would expect many tens of thousands of people who currently own other .380 mouse guns to immediately jump in line to switch to a Glock version.

I really think they should do both. Glock would sell the crap out of a pocket 9 and out of a pocket .380. If I were asked to place a bet on which one would sell better, were they both to be released at the same time, I would have a REALLY hard time choosing.

True. I guess Glock has a strong enough following (probably THE strongest) that a .380 would sell too. I just see more people talking about 9mm than .380 as something they would use regularly. We'll see soon enough

I recently bought an XDs9 and a LCP, but if Glock comes out with either a pocket .380 or a single stack 9mm I am buying.

Doesn't glock already make a 380 that just isn't imported? Seems with a new US plant, it would take minimal work to get that into production opposed to designing a new gun.

Yep, let's start manufacturing G25 and G28 here in the states to get by the stupid import rule.

That's only because there is no good quality low cost 9mm single stack pocketgun. The Kahr's are GREAT, but they're certainly not low cost. Other than that, there's nothing comparable in 9mm. There are zero reasons to take a .380 over a 9mm, except for tiny size. Make a gun in 9mm that's the same size at the tiny .380, it'll sell very well.
