Appleseed fees for all adults (18 & over) will change to $60.00 in January, 2014. Here's your chance to get that friend or family member out to an Appleseed event and save 20% on the 2014 prices. This certificate has no expiration date and also provides a greater savings for men under this years' price structure.

Question...

I cross posted to the deals sub forum, member is asking how to redeem these certs.

But I'm not sure how to redeem them. I just tried to register for an event and didn't find anywhere to indicate I had a certificate to use. Any suggestions? If not I'll give them a call as time allows.
Anybody familiar with the process?

I suggested something I read on ASforum:

Did find this blurb on AS forum by a shoot boss from Dec. 2012:

No updating needed. When the certificates are redeemed, the loved one signs up to the event as free LEO/Active Military. There isn't a registration fee. They have to produce the certificate when they show up to the event to register.

My emphasis added.

The bit quoted above has it right: Sign up under the free category, and turn in the gift cert. when you arrive at the shoot.

Yes, good for all two day shoots. Get 'em while they're hot!

Good to hear - picked one up. I've been meaning to do either another regular or KD Appleseed when I get a chance and while I'm not sure which dates will work out first I should be able to do one or the other this year.
