Aftermarket Stock Legality
Does having a stock with a hole that allows you to wrap your thumb around the grip make it a pistol grip such as the picture attached? Does that even matter if the rifle is bolt action?

Thank you all for the replies. I recently built an AR-15 so my mind was fresh for all the California limitations. I'm looking into a new stock for my bolt action 243 and it seems like there's no problem!
