They didn't miss it. It's intentionally absent as Magpul has no intention of ever selling it.

You'll notice the Masada and PDR are also absent from this PDF - as Bushmaster now has the rights to produce and sell the Masada as the Bushmaster ACR, and the PDR as far as I know is still being designed and does not yet have a manufacturing arrangement. I think it's a decent guess that Bushmaster will also license and manufacture the PDR, but I wouldn't expect to see it available for purchase this year.

I know.
I was just bringing it up to start conversation for those that missed it elsewhere.

I'd never seen that either. I want one too, but let me guess, we'll never seen them here in commieville.

It's just an experiment so you may never see them anywhere.
Keep in mind that it's a submachine gun so you certainly won't see it here.

I just browsed the pics, so I just assumed that it was something we could (conceivably) have "drop-in-style" for our regular Glocks. In this "place", though, it would probably fall under a concealed weapon or SBR category, though. I may be wrong on one, or maybe both of those, but PRK gun laws would HAVE TO PROHIBIT SOMETHING SO INSANELY COOL!!! Someone, please feel free (if you are reasonably sure) to chime in on what the legalities would be for a drop-in part like this for regular, semi-auto Glocks. Both Federal & PRK would be interesting, as well. I am thinking, like, an accessory "add-on" (like "bubba" stocks for SKS's & AK's, etc.) that would turn the Glock into, essentially, a pistol w/ added frame size/length which could be folded up & carried like a laptop. (S**T!!, just typing the last bit there pretty much said "DOOMED", didn't it?)

Per federal and state law, that configuration of a gun is a short barreled rifle.
You can't have a handgun with a shoulder stock.

There are shoulder stocks for Glocks, but you have to install a 16" barrel before you install the stock.

Now, what the pictures don't show is that the FMG-9 is also a machine gun, as-in full auto.
You certainly can't have one of those because it was not on the NFA registry prior to may 1986 so it's not transferrable.

first, lets assume that the glock in the box is full functional firearm...

how would the grip of the glock fold in while still functioning as a real one?

It does not fold.
The stock simply folds around the grip.

It's almost as if you can take the Magpul catalog, substitute snowboarding gear, and it would be right at home. Nice catalog.

and they have a few cool new products too

I think he's talking about this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUKkf...eature=related The guy pushes a button on the back of the pistol grip and it folds into the shell. Crazy!

Hmm... nope, the Glock magazine well certainly does fold up. Check out the video again.
