Ok guys here's my gift to you. I was at the Mountain View Walmart tonight.

Tomorrow morning at 8am they will have a stack on model FSW-24-GP-E-S safe on sale for 89.00.

Yes 89.00!!!!!

I couldn't believe what i was seeing so i asked the manager, they confimed it and they only have two of them.

I wasn'table to look inside of it but from the outside it looked great.

You will need to line up for it, i couldn't get the exact location of where to line up but they said it may be in the garden section. Go Early

If i didn't have to work i would probably go down there and get this.

I sure hope someone from calguns gets these.

I just picked up the Stack On 8 gun cabinet as a secondary safe for my growing C&R collection, model: GCB-908-DS (pre-assembled) from Walmart.com for $89.99 + tax, free shipping = $97.xx shipped.
Fatwallet is also giving 4% cash back right now ($3.60)

Link: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Stack-On-G...binet/14710763

If you want, they have the un-assembled version for $10 less ($79.99): http://www.walmart.com/ip/Stack-On-8...binet/14707408

What is the legitimacy of this in fact being true? I'm just curious how you found out about this deal. My brother is sitting there and those safes have a price tag on them for $497, you say you couldnt' believe your eyes that they were going to be $89. Just curious why yours would say $89 and these say $497. I am in no way discrediting your info, just wanna be sure if i'm going to plant my *** there for the next 6hrs.

Well guess we will wait it out and see. Dont bother coming to the Lake Elsinore Walmart as if they only have 2 my brother and I are already here waiting it out. May wanna go hit up Murrieta or Corona. Just for kicks maybe you can verify if their are 2 of these safes at those stores as well and chime in.

I got a 8 gun stack on safe from big 5. I was going to go to walmart to get the combo deal with the stack on pistol safe but meh... Didn't want to stand in line at Walmart or mess with the crazy crowds.

Back home with the wide body cannon from tractor. I was press with it in the store; the interior material is kind of chintzy but it does the job and there is a ton of storage potential in it. Didn't have the rattle can feel like someone posted earlier. Got it from the Petaluma store, they still have several left if anyone is interested.

fyi I just called Dick's re: the 18 gun stack-on cabinet. They do not deliver to your local store, and will only ship to your address for this item, and the cost of the delivery is more than the item.

Im thinking of quit screwing with the cabinet thing and just pulling the trigger on the Bighorn from Costco. Toss in the Lite Tech LED lights.

Capt Pete - I'm in the same boat, looking at a temporary sol'n of a gun cabinet (one youngster who won't be able to get into anything for a while), or get a Sturdy-brand safe at 10x the cost of the cabinet (but we're planning to move in ~5 years and I don't want to move a giant safe).

I moved a 418 lb safe out of my truck and into my garage with a little help from my wife. Just get an appliance dolly, it is easier that moving a sleeper sofa or large refrigerator...or I could be married to a freakishly strong girl

I can confirm that Dick's can order the $699 safe for in store pickup, even if they do not carry it in stock. They have to do it through their internal computer system (not try to check you out on the Dick's website), and there is no additional charge for shipping to store. Not sure if this works with any of the other BF safes that are on sale, but it does work with the monster 64+4 Sentinel Safe for $699. The safe will start shipping to stores after Dec. 2nd, and this should work in all Dick's stores, even those that do not carry gun stuff.

ALSO - Make sure to sign up for the rewards card and get an additional $20-$30 in store credit. And/or sign up for their credit card for additional 10% off.

I just picked this one up at Lowes:

http://www.lowes.com/pd_387166-10283...fes&facetInfo=

4% from ebates and 10% of Lowes card got it close to $300. Paid for it with Lowes gift cards I bought from Vons ($25 off groceries for every $150 spent on gift cards = $50 plus 4x gas rewards = another $30 off). It was nicely finished inside, Liberty's new bolt system seems much stronger than a few cylinders, I wanted a manual lock, and these are now made in the USA. Much better than the comparable "Black Friday" safes priced the same. Not a ton of fire protection, but this one is going into a bedroom and that room would never burn hot for >20 minutes in the case of a fire.

Had my wife check on that unicorn safe, guy said there's no way, only thing they even had was the cabinet. Then he asked which website it was on because she was about the tenth person to ask him. I just laughed.

I was in Walmart yesterday looking at ammo, saw those Stackon 24 gun safes, and asked the manager about them. She mentioned she still had 2 from last year still and would mark them down from 497 to 397.

anybody interested it's the Walmart on Euclid and the 5 freeway in Anaheim

I was told by multiple DSG stores they would not honor the BF price. Shipping would be additional. Let me know if it works out. I was fortunate to get one of the only two in Orange County.

Yep, the DSG here in Bakersfield does the exact same thing for ALL the safes in their ads. Not sure why other people are hearing differently.

Picked up my cannon wife body today and got it home from the Petaluma tractor store.

My son was freakishly excited to get up with me at 5 am on Friday and go pay for it. Weird for an 11 year old.

We were paid up at about 0630 and guy said we purchased number 8 of 21. Was a great deal.

I got the Cannon from TS store paid for it at 630 am Friday after working the grave yard shift all night. Ran up and got it today only took three guys to get it in the truck. Two friends will help me get it out of the truck Sunday for the low low price of a beer. I know its not the best made safe in the world but man its big

Good going Gentleman. You cant beat the Tractor Supply deal on that Cannon Wide body 6040. We bought 3 last year on black friday at the same price as this year. My brother has a horse trailor with the ramp to off load so it really wasn't that hard with the two of us. Right now I use one side for guns and the other for ammo and documents ect. Very happy after owning it for a year now. I found that placing my electric dehumidifier up front on the floor and split the sides so half covers each side of the devider works best. good Luck and have fun filling it up.
