What Derringers are legal in Cali.
Ive seen many 22's was looking for a larger caliber.
I did find a 38

In California.....
Derringer OK.
Any handgun that shoots a regular shotgun round, not OK.

An exception, those CCI shotshells, available in .45acp, .38spcl, 9mm, ect.

As long as it isn't chambered long enough to fit .410 shotgun shells it should be fine.

As far as buying something new through a dealer/gun shop, only models shown on the CA DOJ "approved" roster (do a Google search) are available.

...which currently is just a limited selection of guns made by Cobra Arms.

Me like, nice looking derringer. If it is sold in a gun shop in Ca. it should be legal in Ca.

Ya, I bought it at Coburn's discount guns in fontana? back in 93 right after I turned 21. and yes it only shoots .45 L.C. When I bought it I too was looking for a .45/.410 but settled on this.
