I hardly think you can direct a price increase to one post. There are many similar topics all over the internet.

Californians might not go so crazy this time around. I can't imagine most working people having the funds left plus Christmas is approaching.

Yes however I'd only feel comfortable with a design that resulted in damaging or destroying the magazine to reverse the modification.

Not happy about this all either, but at least it this is all happening at a point of relative market saturation for most of the products that people will be buying. Although it looks like some prices have (still) jumped already.

I don't see prices going up more than a slight bump. It's not a national issue (for now). Unless the vendors set up a separate SKU for California only and raise prices, they will lose sales to other vendors that don't.

It amazes me how much FUD there is even among CA gun owners. Who the hell cares what we do with our rebuild kits and its none of anyones concern or business. All I do with mine is make 10/30 mags but if someone assembles them I don't care.

Anyways carry on, Exile Machine has reasonably priced Tapco gen 2 Mini 14 rebuilds in stock FTW.

I'm stationed in WA, but own property in San Diego. WA is nice, but there's no BLM land in this state. No BLM land = no fun!

A quote from Exile Machines website. I love, I love it.

"DELAYS LIKELY
We are processing an unusually high volume of high cap magazine repair kit orders due to the recent passage of new Gun Control measures (AB48) in California.
Due to our system's 10-minute inventory update window, in very rare circumstances you may place an order for a high cap magazine repair kit, especially for orders placed outside normal business hours that showed "x units available" only to find out later that it had gone out of stock a few minutes before you ordered it. Your REPAIR KIT order may be delayed significantly beyond our normal 1-4 day processing time. Orders without REPAIR KITS should process within the normal 1-4 day timeframe.
REPAIR KIT DELAY ESTIMATE: 7 DAYS
This figure represents our latest best estimate based on the most recent order processed and shipped. It is only an estimate and is not a guarantee. The actual date could be earlier or later.
Hang in there; be patient. We have all hands working overtime breaking down magazines into parts kits. Please don't write or call us frequently asking where your order is; that only slows down the processing of everyone's orders. You'll get your stuff or we'll refund your money. We've been in business continuously and successfully since August 2009 and we haven't done that by taking your money and not delivering the goods. Thanks for your continued patience."

Huh... but I hope there are some good outdoor ranges, maybe some with private berms? Or you gotta know someone with a lot of property that will let you shoot there. I have no idea what WA laws are though.

One thing for sure. Stay away from RGUNS. Read the internet reviews for those guys. This is a "Heads Up" for you guys. I had to get the credit card company involved to get my money back after 8 months.
