This really isn't surprising, and I commend Brown for not falling into the civilian disarmament emotional argumentation, which none really existed.

Well this is a relief, but we all know this isn't over. Next year they will draft another crazy law and we will do this all over again.

I certainly am glad to have things calm down for a while though.

Reading the letter, I think our words were actually heard by the old gov. Its nearly verbatim much of the sentiments that those of us who had called and emailed and faxed. Maybe this is a sign that our words aren't falling on completely deaf ears.

I'm happy about the vetos but even the bills that got signed today cannot be left standing without more push back, whether that means recalls, litigation, something needs to happen. Also whatever got vetoed today will be back next year.

Let's write a letter of appreciation for vetoing sb374. Maybe have them hand delivered like when we were trying to get a veto. Show Sacramento dems the power of 2A conscious voters in this state
