I've still got 24 pounds left from my huge purchase last year.

What I need to find, is some AA1680 though, to load up some .445 SuperMag. I got a pound of IMR4227 yesterday, which will get me going, but I'd prefer the 680 substitutes.

I hope those were 1 pound can. From my understanding they were only llow people to buy:
10 one pound cans
2 4 pound cans
1 8 pound jug

If you are out of that line then they were going to reduce the order to the proper limit. (I called and asked)

Powder Valley had powder today too. It didn't last long either. Seems like I always get to it after it's all gone.

To stay within limits, I bought (1) 8lb jug of CFE223, and (8) 1lb cans on H335.

Got to split the hazmat fee somehow right?

Things are selling out fast! H355 was in the 300s I believe for 1 lb cans. Now, they have 67. My gosh!

Yup all one pounders.

I already had two, and didn't have enough free cash to justify buying 10 pounds.

Just an FYI, keep this stuff to yourself. You do know every time you post it, its bought up ASAP.
http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=832926

I can go on. These guys WAIT for you to post JUST to buy 20 pounds to resell. Its really sad that this is how its become, in reality the powder lasted 12 hours in stock at both sights. If the 10 or so resellers didn't buy it that would be 250 more pounds for shooters to have.

It is pretty crappy how many people are buying up components in huge quantities for the express purpose of flipping them. Though I do tend to think they are checking company stocks religiously, not necessarily waiting for a post like this one.

First time I have bought from Recobs, jeez, I ordered last night, they shipped my Varget this morning, it arrives Friday! Now that is service, very nice. I am impressed.

I'm sure those guys are checking the sites directly instead of checking calguns. There are all kinds of automated ways to do that and there are only so many companies selling powder.

Better this stuff all come to California in any case.

Yea, that guy should be kicked in the nards. I bought a crapload of it and have been using the heck out of it for myself. It ain't for sale!
Although I did trade an 8 lb jug of Varget for an 8 lb jug of some other rifle powder that I've never used before (but is supposed to be good for .223, which I bulk load and don't care if it's not quite the same) to a guy on Calguns who was desperate for Varget.

Yeah, I don't get the whole hoarding supplies than going through all of the hassle of gouging and turning it? I guess it would make sense if you were doing it on a large scale, like thousands of pounds of powder or hundreds of thousands of primers. Buying one 8lb jug of powder and making, what, $20.00 or $30.00 profit in turning it, after all of the hassle of buying it?

The people who do this must be hard up minimum wage 19 year old chumps, definitely not players. I mean what's your time worth? Mine is billed out at $75.00 an hour, not even worth it.

put it this way, i am trolling the forums, checking EVERY known website selling powder and doing all the hard work to find the powder i want.

i rather use it myself. powder lasts a LONG time when stored properly. it would be nice to know if SHTF that i have all the powder i need to keep enjoying a hobby i absolutely love to do.

completely powder unrelated but I remember going to Big 5 one time ( I know they're stupid but my gym was right across the street! ) and before they even opened a guy asked if I was there to buy ammo

straight up turning it around, cases of 556 and 9mm in his trunk
when I asked if he shoots he replied no, which lead me to walk away

IMHO, people who don't shoot and decide to flip things just waste time
LOL
