That's because most people haven't received it yet. The OP posted this deal on 9/30 and its being shipped UPS Ground. Takes 5 business days so the first wave of people will receive their optics on Monday.

You'll know instantly, indoors w/o light on max setting its practically glowing in an Eotech, then just slowly while looking thought the Eotech and pan out through a window or go outside in the day same setting and voila, nothing reticle like magic has vanished.

Is there anything that you should check with the aimpoints when you receive them? or is it as long as it turns on and off its good?

First thing I would do is take it to the range and make sure that you're able to zero it in.

If they are 30MM then really a cheap 30MM high or extra high should do it. That is assuming they are 30MM.

Primary arms makes cheap 30mm mounts. Or maybe the QRP2?

I forgot I had ordered this and then it showed up.

It was dirty, I took everything off and cleaned it up. Some scratches but not to bad. I need some lens cleaners to clean the lenses they were pretty dusty.

the email yesterday said this:

"This is the last batch of Aimpoints for a while. We have 3 different options. We have the same Comp M2s that we have been selling. We also have some Comp M2s with no mounts and a few Comp Ms with no mount. All are listed on our Used Optics page."

For those that haven't picked any up yet. Your best bet is to setup an account with all your information saved already so next time, just add to cart and log-in when you're checking out.

Looks like a little acetone would clean that up nicely, actually. If anything, the paint probably protected the exterior. Can't wait to get mine!

If I was able to get my hands on one I would probably try some goo gone or goo off. That stuff works wonders in removing marks. Has any one tried?
