That's right, who wants to wake up the baby at night with an active flashlight when you can use a passive, generation 3, OMNI VII, autogated image intensifier!

It would have earned me an FTDR, but it would have been nice to have a set in the freezer on stage five at the IDPA State Championship last weekend.

Shooting the .38 super race gun was a cool new experience.... I have never shot a pistol with a trigger pull that was that light and precise

I am guessing the the head count was around 25 people.... Great turn out

Someone was selling one of the aimpoints for $300. Not bad for a $150 investment.

Just got my battleworn EOtech 553. It's quite beat up. The hood is dented in badly, where's touching the inner frame. Glass is in decent shape though.

I have no way of testing NV capabilities. Should it be visible to a recent Sony Camcorder in Night Shot mode? Nothing shows up on mine in Night Shot mode.

You could try in a really dark room and try looking through the CCD "night vision", but I'm not sure if the Sony camera's sensor is sensitive enough to the low level NV setting.

Yeah, I tried it in a dark closet, can't see anything. I'm not sure how bright the NV settings can get, probably very very dim.

If anyone's interested in buying a CMMG .22LR dedicated upper with all the bells and whistles (16" barrel, M4 profile, A2 front sight post, stainless steel bolt, forward assist adapter, bolt hold open adapter) and three mags, give me a PM!

I got the Eotech. Who knows how long they'll have them for $325. I can always buy an upper later when things cool off.

I know I had a great time. When is the next one?

Hey Pigpen - I want to mount some picatinny rails on the hand guard of my Raptor. Any recommendations?

I haven't looked into it. If you're thinking of mounting a light on it. I would use a mag extension, and mount the light to it.
