Hey, I'm in and this time I'm not gonna miss out on Roscoe's. I can't remember the man's name but he let me shoot his AR in 7.62x39. Because of that I'm bringing my Saiga in 223 Rem. I think it would make a funny picture about mixed up calibers. I look forward to seeing you all.

Got paid. Looks like we are 95% a go. Not bringing the Mosin this time, just the AR.

Traffic was a biotch, accidents on both the 405S & 10W. But, we made it, and we're shooting.

I shoot at LAX at least once a week and was there tonight for about 45 minutes, but I am new(ish) to the forum, and I had no idea that it was Calguns night until I was on my way out. You guys looked like you were having a blast. . .how often does this happen? I would definitely join you guys next time.

It's once a month at LAX. It's the second Wedensday of the month. Check out the shoot on the 27th at Burro Canyon. It's the last one of the year.

Thanks for the 12 Gauge shoulder massage, Phil. I still can't believe you haven't cleaned your M&P 22 yet. Are you going for a record? Haha.

The Tavor made a showing today. Handling was kind of awkward, and the Prince 50 Bullet button shroud sucks. But man the Tavor shoots smooooooth.

And thanks Jeremy for initiating another one of my friends to the .50 Beo club.

And, damn you, James. I want NVG now.

The Raptor's a keeper hopefully I can get the barrel extension done by the time Burro comes around. I might clean it before Burro. I can clean one a day that should get me to the 27th.

Should have come back in! And yes it was a blast especially with pigpens shotties! We have usually 3 shoots a month, LAX (roscoes), Firing Line (pizza) and Burrows shoot n' que (everything we can bring and cook!) at the end of the month. Some of us do an unofficial informal shoot at Angeles on various days. They're all great shoots so come out and check them out.

Btw, had a great time as always guys! Raptor and XD added to wish list

2nd mass, pmrsino, and I are planning on going to oak tree sometime tomorrow (Friday). They have a sweet steel gallery and lots of clay blasting. Open until 10pm, outdoor range.

Had a blast. We couldn't stay long, kept spending money, draining the gun fund. Spent about twice as much as we intended. Upside is that mrsfunnybookz enjoyed shooting the Glock 19 and wants one. Now we need to buy two. I jailed a Mossberg 500 today. Hoping we can make it to Angeles at the end of the month, just a lot going on for us this month so we aren't sure yet.

How does the recoil on the Beo compare to a 12 gauge?
