SVT 40
Mosin Nagant 91/30

SVT 40: There is something about the "heat shield" at the front of that rifle that turns me on. The muzzle break/flash hider says "come and get it you MFer". The outline of the rifle is sleek and flowing. It finally says "I'm a bad ***"

Mosin Nagant: I have a MN with beautiful tiger stripes. The long barrel says "I'm going to reach out and touch you" The form fits function is delightfully sexy.

1. For design, M1 Garand
2. For just beautiful craftsmanship, Persian Mauser
3. Most of the South American Contract Mausers can look quite beautiful like that Chilean above.
4. SVT40 is basdass
5. Laminate SKS/Correct Red Mottled SKS like SVT40s in the gallery

FAL and svt40 top my charts. Even though I own them, the garand and m1 carbine do nothing for me aesthetically.

Not technically a c&r but its my most recent build so its my favorite.
Its allot more metal than wood and may very well be the ugliest thing in my collection but I still totally love it.

My fav has always been an M1 Garand. Ironically, it might be one I don't own for a while

Next would be my lammy Mosin only because after getting it, I've become a laminate lover. I have an RC Mauser that's a lammy, and I have been on the hunt for a lammy Russian SKS

Buy ALL the laminate rifles!!!

This one is easy. The M1 Carbine in the mid-1944 form is the most beautiful rifle ever. Simple and sexy.

Not my photo but my rifle.

Well if you ever want to unburden yourself of any of those, add me to your wait list (which I am sure is quite substantial)!

I prefer - as apparently does trapp - the "civilian" type of C&R

Swiss made Martini single shot target rifle made by F R Boeckle Bern Swit. about 1900 -- I would try to share but I have never mastered photos -

Military wise -- M1896 and M1899 Krag Carbines -- no contest.

Henry repeater, not really C&R since it's an antique

Someday I'll find one.

If all of those are yours, I'd be happy to clean anything you shoot. Free of ANY charge.
