Wonder when they'll be available? I'd definitely say they're OLL material.

Have a great gun carryin' Kenpo day

Look at the buttplate area. Looks like an extension can be added like the FN PS90 from Lan World.

I thought the KRISS prototypes were supposed to shine on auto due to their novel design...my inner skeptic wonders if recoil reduction will be much of an issue in a legal length .45ACP semi-auto carbine.

they designed those with help from Magpul, But I understand that they want to sell the design to a established firearms company and collect a royalty. I dont think they have any intention of setting up there own production.

Isnt this thing designed and engineered to run through 45acp in full auto? If your just going to shoot this thing in semi only, then whats the purpose? Bunch of expensive technology that your not going to use = waste of money.

Like buying a F1 race car for the public street.

Interesting.. Is it just me, or is that trigger located (and PG) located above the action (by about an inch)

It is. Interesting, doesn't seem to fit the description of a pistol grip. Still ugly.

(1) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any one of the following:
(A) A pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon.
(B) A thumbhole stock.
(C) A folding or telescoping stock.
(D) A grenade launcher or flare launcher.
(E) A flash suppressor.
(F) A forward pistol grip.
(2) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.
(3) A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has an overall length of less than 30 inches
If the stock is fixed and that is not a flash hider would that mean it is CA legal minus the forward grip?

EDIT. Looks like it is a folding stock. That would need to be fixed.

EDIT again.

The photo in the brochure looks much better. That stock on the other photo is but ugly. Kills the whole thing.

I don't think it's ugly. Plus it also looks like it lacks "evil feature" (1)B.

It was brought up before and most of the members thought it was ugly. Personally, I think is Bad A**; but will probably be too expensive.

Count me in, just for the coolness aspect. Plus, if it only goes into limited production, and you get one, think "investment value" ugly or not, it will go up in value!
Look at the Special Weapons PXP-10 and SP-10, Only 250 of each of these made, I got one of each, and those things sell for for 30% over what I paid already! Buy one, safe queen it, adn save it for a rainy day when its value triples, ie; AWBII

Just another rifle we all wish we could have. Kinda makes me wonder why Ruger didn't make a PC45.

The Carbine and the SDP pistol are now available equipped as California Compliant. These are NOT special models, so if you leave the state or sell the gun out of state, it can be retrofitted to be 100% factory original. Contact your local dealer, or visit us for more information - www.directactionsolutions.net. We're the distributor for California, and we'll be happy to answer any questions you have.

I got to shoot one in a SBR configuration.

It was a lot of fun and felt great. Had a little issue with trigger reset though.

IIRC, they're looking to release a pistol version sometime either later this year, or next year.

I'd be interested in one for sh*ts and grins. Either that, or a B&T TP9.

Looks like the KRISS pistol is available.

I'd like to get one of those. Looks like you could carry it around and nobody would know what it was.

I have a 550HP factory Five Cobra, it does 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds, a high 10 quarter mile and is capable of 160 mph (give or take). It's still a real kick in the pants to drive, even at legal speeds...all that power and advanced suspension "technology" might be a waste of money, but it's still fun to have!
