Default P220 srt vs P229/P226

question - the p220 srt includes a new decocking lever, which is slightly different than original.

what would happen if that was left out?

the reason i ask is i have a p220 equinox en route, and will be instant the srt. I can polish the as SRT decocking lever, but it is typically darker than the rest of the nickel controls.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the newer decocking levers for the P226-229 are to accommodate the newer E2 style grips which if you used a older decocking lever it would scrape the E2 grip.

I don't think there is a special decocking lever that is needed for SRT enabled SIGs... At least not on mine.
