have some crappy old chinese mags from before the ban. would be interested to upgrade to CMI 25s. or have 1 25 ready to rock and then my go bag which is built for20s with the rest.

H20MAN, very nice. as you may know we cant have pistol grips without the bullet button in PRK let alone a suppressor ( damn you !) so i just have my m1a in traditional wood and gi fiber stocks.

very cool setups.

Thank you!

I am not totally up to speed on the many restrictions you must deal with in Kali, but all
of us living in free states feel blessed that we don't currently face the same restrictions.

Springfield, Inc. and ONLY Springfield, Inc. makes the M1A.

All of mine are built on forged Norinco & Poly Tech receivers.
The Chinese mark all of their copies of the USGI M14 M-14/S & M14 Sporter.

Here's a picture of ***delete*** my CAI imported Norinco.

Here's what it currently looks like.

My CAI Norinico is a damn fine receiver. Rivals my LRB that's for sure.

This is the M1A/M14 rifle gallery, and pictures of receiver markings are...pictures. What has been posted are pictures of M1A/M14's, correct?

I'll edit my post to not confuse people of this thread.

Watch out, this is getting serious. Someone is going to get their *** kicked over the internet.

Atari, I ordered the wood hand-guard from Dupage Trading. Although the walnut hand-guard I received isn't exactly the same color or grain pattern, its close enough and it's way sexier than the factory plastic. Oh no, I'm not on topic...

the wooden hand guard looks great, but the classic brown handguard has grown on me quite a bit!

I'm putting a 22" krieger on the m1a in my signature. I'd like to have a second m1a in a walnut stock.

Perhaps I will just keep my krieger barrel and save up for a new receiver and put that on my JAE. At that point I can take my SAI scout (as pictured) and drop that into a wood stock. I just hate to take off my scout barrel, it groups really well already and I dont want to ruin a good thing.

Very nice!

Loosen the tiny set screw on the side turn down the top screw until it is barely touching the barrel.
Back it off 1/4 of a turn and tighten the tiny set screw. That's it.

Thank you.

I started out with a real problematic American M1A.

The uninformed have and do criticize me for using Chinese receivers and parts, but I have not had a single problem with any of them.
This lack of problems may have something to do with the M14 builder I use

Nice rifles guys!

In preparing for my next SEI build I moved my MK14 SEI CL action into
my RRM stock to free up my black SAGE M14ALCS/CV for possible use.

I plan to scope it with either a Micro T-1 on an UltiMAK M8 or a Leupold
illuminated 1.5-5x20mm MR/T on an SEI mount with a strap on cheek riser.

I may just leave it irons only... time will tell.

Got it in a great deal from a fellow Calgunner - had problems extracting at first but got it back from Springfield (love the lifetime warranty) and now it runs flawlessly, I guess the muzzle break was bad and caused it to not extract and cycle rounds properly. I tried to run an EOTech on it at first, but it sat too high and I couldn't get good stock weld - the lowered Aimpoint works a little better but its still hard to get a good firm connection to the stock, but I can hit what I'm aiming at.
