I usually just say, " keep the anti second amendment bills in suspense".

These threads should have a standard pure written text to go with them.

Heh....I like this tactic.

I shall call on Wednesday.

Paul,
I realize OPSEC is important here but is there any way to get a summary of the reaction of the people we call?

May I suggest that we focus our phone melting to only even numbered hours and half hours of the day to concentrate the phone melting chaos? Or is the current all over ebb and flow method frustrating and frenzied enough?

That's why I asked Paul for a summary.

Along with the general feeling I'd also like to know if it's an "ebb and flow" or an outright barrage (I'm hoping barrage).

So, is there any problem with focusing calls at 8:00-8:30, 10:00-10:30, 12:00-12:30, 2:00-2:30, 4:00-4:30? Or every hour and half hour, so that at every 3/4 hour it seems to lighten and staffers get slammed again at the top of the hour

Sounds like telephone waterboarding.

If we all called at targeted times, many of us wouldn't get through. Plus, getting everyone to call at once on a single day is a small miracle in and of itself. Targeting specific times might be too much for this group!

Methinks the constant barrage is working. Every time I call, the staffers are flustered and I hear constant phones ringing in the background.

Remind them that there are possibly 10,000 violent criminals that may be let out of CA jails soon because of court orders. Do they really want to disarm the law abiding people if that happens?

Okay.

But can we still call it 'telephone waterboarding'?

The email address bounces back as not valid. Sent it twice today. One from the NRA link and one from the Turners link. Wonder if they got wind and killed the address.

Thought I would leave and early message this morning, "This destination is not accepting messages because the mailbox is full and not accepting messages." Good to see there is already heat and their voicemail is full. I'll try to call again later when they open.

Called, placed on hold for about 30sec then voiced my opinion. I know it's early but we need to keep hitting these calls.

I emailed and did get an auto response.

Just FYI her district is 13 and includes Stockton, Tracy and outlying areas.

Done! Emailed and Called. This now part of my morning TO DO List.

Was able to get emails through. When I called the Sac. office number, there was a message saying to leave a message and to hit "0". I hit zero and I got a real person. Got put on hold for about 30 seconds and she was able to take the message.

Out of curiosity, is there a reason we're hammering one particular Assembly Appropriations person each day, but not doing the same with the Senate Appropriations Committee for the bills that they have in their suspense file?
