Yes you will need to provide your own canopy. The range is just a bare range, you will need shade, tables, chairs, shooting mats or some type of ground cover if you wanna shoot prone.

But usually, there's enough people with canopies already. But you should bring one (if you have one) just in case. I'm in only because Ricky Ray is bringing the tuna. Ice Chest for sure. And some snacks(no clue yet).

i will bring my ez-up canopy a folding table and my ice chest. hope that leaves me enough room for my guns. whatwhy you are welcome to try some of my loads. my 9mm will most likely give you a shock. i am a member of the target range and everytime i shoot there others always think its a 45. when i shoot my 44mag loads the range guys come in because they think it is a 500. the look on their faces is priceless lol when i show them. if anyone is bringing a 300wm i will let you try my custom sierra loads. they are amazing at angeles shooting 600 yards. i am always looking for other reloaders to swap recipes with.

Thanks Ray! See you there and your tuna apparently... lol. Gonna see if anyone has one if not I'll buy a canopy. Seems like its going to be me + 5 who do I tell to get on that fancy list at the start of this post?

I'll be attending and bringing a friend. So me +1.

Would like to bring a case of bottled water.

Can we shoot food as targets? Like melons and lettuce heads?

What about plastic water bottles (2 liter and smaller) filled with water?

Is it too messy to pick up the shredded bottle remains?

All the things you mention are doable, however there is a simple rule - 'You need to cleanup any mess you make.' Good thought would be to bring a trash bag in case the range is short on trash containers.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Question... Would it be difficult for a friend in a wheelchair to get some shooting in? looks like there is no concrete at the ranges? Just want to know cause he wants to go and shoot his New Colt 1911... Feel bad telling him he can't... is it possible?

I've seen a few shooters in wheelchairs over the years even on the private ranges.
Not sure if I can make it out but I'm sure that EVERYONE there would help your friend with anything he could possibly need!
All the private ranges you can drive right up to the firing line if needed.
Keep in mind that all bathrooms are porta-johns

Anyone going to have any spare space under their canopy to share?

I'll be bringing a small folding table, but don't have a canopy for shade.

160 to 180 yds, possibly the back bluff could be almost 200 yds.

Review the second post on the first page. I have listed what people said they were bringing.

That being said, we can always use more ammo!

We can always make room for one more under my canopy, At least I hope... I'll see if I can find an old tarp we can tie between a couple of Canopies just in case...
