Default Lies about Rifle Gear

Worst gun shop I have been in! The staff was incompetent at best, they have no muzzle or trigger discipline, I got flagged by everyone in the store at least once they also play with customer merchandise causing noticeable damage to the finish. This place is a joke the staff dont even know the letter of the law regarding paper work to bring in.

I Will never shop here nor will I recommend it to anyone and I will actively steer people away from this place until they get all new staff that learn basic gun safety and basic respect to not man handle customer firearms like toys

Each store has its quirky moments. Generally, they are a great store IMO .

I've never been there, but I highly doubt you will get anybody on CG to sympathize with you. And let me guess, you are a white former military member? I hear they hate those kind of people at that store.

Boy did you ever open up a can of worms. Talking bad about Riflegear on this forum is like talking about someones mom.

Good luck with the firing squad.....

I'm sorry, who are you? We don't play with customer's merchandise - we put it away in the cage after you finish the paperwork and we don't take it back out until you come to sign it out. Just what was this uber cool firearm that we just couldn't help but play with?

Welcome back fastkevin. You're opinions are wrong, but this is going to be another fun thread to say the least.

I'm sure you have surveillance in the store. Please post the video so we can see this KEWL one off gun!

+1 I've been there several times since I entered the firearm lifestyle about 9 months ago. I see only good things happen there.

The only quirky thing I had happen was during a safe handling demonstration for a handgun, the salesman stood right in front of me. This made me have to change the way I would handle a firearm, since you normally face the safest direction. I couldn't really turn either, or I may sweep other salesmen or customers. The salesman had to tell me a couple times "ensure you're pointing in a safe direction." I should have mentioned something to him, but I already feel like a newb, so I just worked through it. Ultimately no worries.

Rifle Gear is legit, at least they help people quickly. Unlike Ammo Bros Cerritos, where it feels like you are there for a life time before someone helps you.

My positive shopping experience at RG overshadows the OP's. So I will go again the next time it suits me.

Now that RG is here, where is the OP? Pass the popcorn please.

Thats why they felt the need to open and fondle a box of hollow points I bought like they had never seen such a thing before? The saddest part about this is it wasn't even a high end gun it was a Glock and the red flakes from the snapcaps that coated the chamber kinda shows someone was playing with it

Sir, I'm sorry that you feel we played with your gun, but here are a couple considerations:

1. Almost everyone that works here already owns a Glock or two (or four, in one employee's situation). According to our records, we have had roughly 1,300 Glocks come through the shop in the last 365 days. We also have more on the shelves in the back right now than I am allowed to disclose. I promise that we have absolutely no reason to go find your Glock in the cage to play with it, sir.

2. Personally, I don't even use snapcaps with my Glock and neither do most people I know. Pretty much the only time anyone puts snapcaps in a gun here is during the state mandated "Safe Handling Demo". Didn't you load a red snapcap into your Glock yourself during the demonstration? That may explain the snapcap debris in your chamber...

3. You said in the OP that your finish was noticeably damaged. Was there any damage present other than the red snapcap flakes in your chamber? Did you mention the alleged damage to anyone when you inspected the firearm during your pick up?

Please let us know.

Thanks

-RG Staff

Darn thought the troll would be locked by now, lost my bet dang it.

Lower life form? No, but credibility between dude with 9 posts and joined in April compared to men who live here with thousands of posts, been here years and I've talked to many nights here? Yeah, think you might lose that one. Establish yourself first, then we might take you seriously.

Besides, riflegear is here, talk to them, sounds like they want to help you, God knows I wouldn't with your attitude, but that's why I'm not in sales or customer service anymore.
