Default Are there any 6.8spc commercial bolt action rifles available for us?

Just curious if there's anything out there. Couldn't find anything online. Not looking for a superpricey custom type rifle...just something one can buy off the shelf.

Remington did a limited run of 700ps. You can find them for sale sometimes at Snipers Hide or the EE over at ar15.com

The 6.8SPC round doesn't offer better (or even matching) ballistics over what is available in bolt action rifles.

Calibers such as .308WIN, 260REM, 7mmREM, and 270WIN all offer better performance. The 6.8SPC is best in the AR15 platform where it offers better energy delivery compared to the .223REM.

Yup, the 6.8mm SPC as seen on the AR15 platform delivers 80% of the 7.62x51mm due to the shorter but larger case and 50% of the recoil of 7.62x51mm due to more efficient cartridge energy.

My personal AR using a Barrett M468 6.8mm magazine on a Duracoated FDE VLTOR tan AW being shot by the instructor at Angeles Range.

+1 i would stick with the good ol' .308win. if you want better performance, then go full custom.
