It could be the saddle, receiver, rear sight or mount. AK are not always straight. It will not effect your accuracy, wind is your biggest enemy further out. Mine is the same way.

Ok took the plunge for one to mount on top my SAM7R similar to what LastDrift has.... Every gun is different, but the SAM7Rs are milled and are known for not coming from Las Vegas with too many problems. My vote is the MI mount not coming to 12 o'clock but only he can tell if he gets a picture looking from a chin weld position over the buttstock toward the muzzle and see what's out of alignment.

At 1x setting, are these 1-6x scopes as good as the pa microdot t1 clones at this? At keeping the reticule on target when moving eye around, that is?

Yeah holds the same way but much faster with the large horse shoe! You don't need a 1-2 moa dot to shoot a torso size target across the room or even street. The big horseshoe with 1 moa dot gives you speed and accuracy. But then you can go to 6x and hit targets out to 500 yards! Using a red dot you would not hit much past 200 and if the battery dies be left QD ing or going to irons. You have to be fast uplose and accurate further out. Not having both leaves you
vulnerable.

Dimitri,

How far off is the 5.56/.308 version? Are we talking days or weeks? The 7.62 version rocks BTW.

Damn, I was just referred to the PA optic for $99 that competes with the Vortex Strikefire but I need a good optic for my Saiga. Im not sure if the $99 PA 2 moa red dot with the low mount would suffice, or if I want to shell out the extra for this 1-6 variable with a 7.62x39 BDC. That's a very smart product by the way, the AK and AK variants are so popular but have nothing in the form of quality optics choices. Most sit too high, or do not include a 7.62x39 calibrated reticle. It boggles my mind why there aren't more choices for the most popular rifle on Earth, but whoever designed this is pretty darn smart and this product needs to be marketed for sure. The only thing that might prevent huge sales is the price, because many AR/Saiga owners are pretty budget minded. 99% of the time I am at the range and see one, it has a UTG or NC Star ( both of which I hate with a passion unless you shoot rimfire) If I could make a suggestion, and it already may exist, why don't you guys integrate a mount to the optic. I've never seen anything but 1x red dots with integrated picatinny mounts. You would have a gold mine on your hands with that combo and could easily ask $300 for it. When this is in stock though I may just pick one up.

Whooooa. Wait a second. The reticle is still visible without power applied? That is sick. So its etched in the glass like some of the high end optics? I am definitely buying this now. Get one in stock so I can add it to my baby. Forget about the integrated mount suggestion, you guys can work on that later lol. Great product and very forward thinking engineering.

Definitely, I had bought this a long time ago, and I was like might as well shoot some since it's a wet day at Burro. 3 out of 10 bullets will hit where i wanted it to go.

Some rounds also were hit by the firing pin and would not fire instantly, it felt like there was a half a second delay. I'm never buying cheap tula ammo again. Good thing I only had 400 rds of it and half of it is gone now.

Use it for CQB practice at 1x-2x

Golden tiger is the best ammo period. It should be your SHTF ammo why?
Higher fps
Higher yaw rate
Sealed and lacquered round n primer.
Never use non lacquered ammo for SHTF all the non lacquered ammo loose in my jeep always has rust on them.
Use Fiochi to get you close to final zero then get final 0 using GT with 5 round on target not 3 round groups.

Really interested in this scope.

I read the info, saw the videos and read the thread, I appreciate you putting this out into the market accompanied with a lot of good info. I have an 11.5" Barrel AR - will the fact that I have a shorter barrel change the way the scope will work for me? If it can still be useful, how differently do I utilize the scope?

My goal is to have an optic for my 769x39 11.5" barrel AR that is good for CQB and out to 2-300 yards.

I really like the fact that this has a CQB reticle for 2 eyes and then adjustability to zoom, with the appropriate Dots and BDC's. Very interested, thanks in advance.

No, currently just a regular A2 Muzzle Device. I have a Linear Comp I'll be adding in the near future.

I've put together 10 different kinds which I used to test functionality and reliability, so I haven't purchased any 1 in larger than 100 rounds. After testing, I've gotten the rifle to work reliably on all of them, but based upon your advise here as well as from a couple of other people, I'll be going with Golden Tiger for quantity.

Golden Tiger is my go to ammo in both 7.62x39 and 5.45.

With GT

If you dial in at 200 yards,or +3" at 100 yards it looks like your right on out to 400 yards and only 14" low or so at 500 yards so would still center mass.

That's great, thank you Dimitri, I'm not even looking to go that far with this firearm. This scope is going on my buy list, maybe not today, but in the very near future. Thank you for making this great reticle. Many thanks.

So let's hear your reviews/feedback from those of you fortunate ones who were able to grab a 7.62x39/300 Blk PA ACSS scope.
The good, the bad, surprises? Honestly.

Dmitri,

Are you guys planning on keeping this (5.56/7.62x51)as part of your regular offerings, or is this a 1-time deal?

I am considering replacing an ACOG with this, but may just wait until next year and have both.

I can't afford this one AND the 4-14 FFP.
