Unfortunately I do not have my side rail mount riveted on my rifle yet. Hopefully I cam find someone to take care of it soon.

I thought about it but this was way cheaper.

I was lucky and got a Midwest scope mount pretty cheap and that sealed the deal for me.

It's a FAB Defnse rubberized grip. Feels pretty nice, I can see my front sight post with this scope! Awesome, however it kind of bugs me as the front post is not straight in center with the vertical line of the scope lol

can you make some scopes that don't light up like a Christmas tree? I find the lit up scopes blind me in low light conditions and I don't want the added weight/size of something I'm not going to use.

Have you tried a lower setting? We get a lot of people that want full illumination others partial. We made it go very low for night time low/no light shooting. At the lower powers you should not be blinded at all.

I thought it was too bright as well. I then tried the lower setting and found one that was just right.

I love illumination in my scopes. The added weight to me is worth it. Different strokes for different folks.

The magic happens if the battery dies the reticle remains, with a standard red dot thats a big problem. And the most magical of all is 300-400-500 yards try that with a red dot or even other scopes. Targets at unknown distance is what you will face in real life, none will be wearing a sign with the range written on it. I can't stress how important that is.

Since scope is not lining up with my front post, is it because of my MI Side mount?
