Default Ruger 10/22 Solvent Trap. What the ???

I found this on Amazon. They call it “Solvent trap for Ruger 10/22” There is no explanation on what it is for or instructions. I assume they are trying to legally sell a car oil filter silencer that should be illegal. This is just a guess on my part. Anybody seen one of these? I have no intention of buying one or know anything about the company that sells them I was just curious.

I can't seem to get the picture to show up. So this is the URL on amazon
http://www.amazon.com/Solvent-Ruger-...2+solvent+trap

Seeing as how you could just stick a 2 liter pop bottle over the muzzle for free. Why would anyone use an oil filter and pay for it and a little muzzle adapter for 30 bucks that would blow off if you tried to fire it while attached. This is funny and not funny haha either.

No man you got it all wrong!
This is to catch the cleaning solvents that you put down your barrel from the breech side, it is then filtered and all the burnt powder and dirt is removed so you can reuse the solvent next time you need to clean your rifle.

That is awesome. I get solvent all over my sink, floor, and toilet when cleaning my rifles. I think this is a great idea.
