Default Spending saturday in Culver City...

Hi Team,

Wondered if there were any stores in the general area worth visiting.

I'd like to drop in on anywhere that might have powder for sale, Mosin ammo (I know that's fairly unlikely) or a good surplus store or two.

I'll be in the area all day - any leads would be appreciated!

Pretty much the only gun shop in the area is Martin B Retting, which is in Culver City.

Retting doesn't sell powder.

Retting still sounds like a place that's worth a visit!

LAX Firing Range isn't too far away from Martin B. Retting. There's a Big 5 down the street from the shop.

Rettings has an impressive selection of used rifles and shotguns, as well as interesting collectables. I've browsed there many times.

Martin B. Retting on Washington Blvd. Definitely stop by there. They may have 7.62x54r in stock, but didn't last week when I was there. They don't sell powder.

Big 5 on Sepulveda Blvd. Usually has at least a couple of boxes of 7.62.

LAX Range in Inglewood might have some.

Retting is awesome!

There's a surplus store on Venice Blvd. that has a decent selection of items.

they sell "some" powders -> goex 2f, 3f etc and a few alliant - their low like everyone else and they do stop selling powder around the 4th july due to the hoodlums being naughty

well worth the stop into one of the oldest gun shops in so cal. I saw a catalogue their selling from the 60;s i think.....wish I had a time machine!!

Definitely worth the stop for the used firearms. I recently purchased a very good condition 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser - she shoots great!
