Default Am I stuck with your mistake PSA?

So here goes bought a barreled upper from you guys in Feb and received it in March. Popped it on my lower and it was great.....until I decided to upgrade the forend to a free floating system 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Noticed the top rails of the upper and hand guard were misaligned vertically. Got around to taking it to my LGS where they mic'd the upper against 3 others and fitted the rail on another upper. Conclusion was your upper was out of spec.

This morning I called your customer service and was told since its been more than 30 days and I'm SOL. Here's a pic of the misalignment.......

Hoping you guys will do the right thing here.

Sucks when stuff like this goes wrong. I bought almost all my gear from PSA. I dealt with customer service a couple times and they were awesome. Nothing but good things to say from me. Seems like they may have taken care of it though let us know.

I answered their pm that night requesting I send them my rifle. I told then they could have the upper receiver and never heard back. Case closed IMO, plenty of alternatives out there.....

Is there a clearly written policy about returns and Was there a box to check that you acknowledged the return policy? Ive never ordered from PSA before but just curious if there is a contract

Their site says 30 days for returns but reading through some old threads I've found they have made exeptions. Like I said before, they offered to have me send my whole rifle in to inspect it. I replied they would get the upper only and no response since.

I have different issue with my PSA upper. I received my upper two weeks ago and returned it two days later after I found out that the upper and hand rail are misaligned/twisted. I haven't heard anything from them since they received it. I hope its not a 15 business days waiting period again.

You guys with issues, are there any functional problems? Or is it just that you expect parts from three or more different suppliers to fit together seamlessly? Everybody makes parts to a plus or minus tolerance, you couldn't afford it for them to make everything plus or minus zero. Since it's a hand guard, can you move it so it looks pretty?

I have a few samson rails as well, the first one i got the rail came with 2 of the same side thermal bushings, if you havent already watch this vid to make sure you are installing them correctly. Lastly are you able to time the rail so its even?

Well said

Bulldog your problem is an easy fix. The barrel nut is just slightly out of alignment.

Unfortunately, Palmetto State Armory does not currently have a system set up that would allow for custom orders, which is why we cannot change anything on an order after it has already been placed. We value each of our customers and your opinions mean a lot to us, but we simply do not have a way to change or amend orders at the moment.
