Default My first AR15

Finally had the chance to buy an AR. After going to the shooting range for the first time last December, i bought an ar15 back in May. It is a Cmmg lower with a Del-ton upper. It has gone through a bit of a transformation since i brought it home.

First things i bought were a bipod and some sights. I shouldn't have cheaped out on the sights.... gave me some problems, but it was my own fault

I decided to buy a new handguard. I didn't want to spend much, but i didn't want the cheapest either. I decided on a 15" troy handguard. I like the look of no barrel exposed.

I then added a jp enterprise muzzle brake. It definitely is loud, haha. But, recoil was greatly reduced. And I finally took actual pictures. Camera was my iPhone, but it's the best i can do.

I still have a few things I'd like to add to the build, but not for a while.

Looks good. Did you have issues before getting zeroed? The gas block doesn't appear to be the same plane as the upper receiver, probably the reason.

A year later, I've returned to this thread, haha. I now have three rifles when at first I only wanted an AR15. You can't stop at one. My two other purchases were a umarex hk mp5-22 and now I'm finalizing an 80% AR build in .308.
