Default split AK Receiver Flat

whats up, made a home made bending jig and when i tried to use it, it split the edge. can i weld it or should i just toss it?

Toss it. At $15 per flat it's not worth the trouble.

Did you lube the flat before trying to bend it in the jig?

Toss the flat and start over, grease the flat with Lithium grease to prevent stretching, scratching, and tearing. Also when you built your jig how tight did you make the female die in relation to the male? You should have about 3/16 inch clearance, another thing you might try is to break the edges of the female die with a file to help
