I was able to get in early and took immediate delivery of one AR-15 and one AR-10 Lower Receiver. Everyone who has seen them wants to return the 80's they previously purchased. These are WAY BETTER than are as good or better as I have seen on the market. The EDM magwell is flawless.

So you need the ar10A upper for the magazines to fit? Or do most modify the magazines to fit the standard ar10 upper?

If I purchased this ar10 I have several questions. 1) where can I get 20% milled by me as I live in Fresno? 2) SR-25 magazines - where to purchase and how much? What upper do I mate with this? Thanks

Question Responses:

1) where can I get 20% milled by me as I live in Fresno?

This is not a service we provide. We suggest tracking down a friendly machine shop local to your area and inquiring about renting machine time. This is a question we have been getting often and we understand it is becoming more and more difficult.

2) SR-25 magazines - where to purchase and how much?

We suggest Magpul among others. See website address: http://store.magpul.com/category/PMAG

3) What upper do I mate with this?

Armalite Models

Ok folks, These guys are finally doing something I've been waiting for the 3 years. An 80% .308 Armalite patterned lower that is capable of accepting the SR25/Pmag patterned magazine. What this means is you can now Make an 80% lower for your LMT MWS, KAC SR25, and LARUE OBR7.62 upper receivers. The finish on these is some of the best in the business and they use 7075 aluminum, not the weaker 6065! Buy with confidence as their customer service is the best I've ever encountered.

Just curious, your specs list an integrated trigger guard but the photo doesn't show that. Which is it?

To clarify...our AR-15 has an integrated trigger guard. Our AR-10 does not. This can be seen in the pictures.

Another vendor posted on their own thread that they go with the dpms pattern because armalite still holds patent protection on theirs. This explains why it hasn't been available. Can Genesis explain if this is true or not?

Armalite holds the rights to the name AR10 but not the SR25/Pmag mag well design. In fact their magazines are proprietary to their original AR10 lowers. but they now produce an AR10A lower that used Pmags. They have threatened lawsuits when others using the term AR10 in the name. But not rights to the mag well pattern.
