Default CCW in Davis?

Does anyone have any experience with getting a CCW from Davis Police instead of Yolo SO?

Draw a number line. Place a dot to the left of zero. The dot = probability of getting an LTC issued by Davis PD.

(It's actually zero, but "less than zero" sounds more dramatic.)

Your best chance lies in moving east of the Sacramento River.

Davis and Yolo county are probably one of the most difficult to acquire a CCW through. Need to move to Sac, Placer, or even El Dorado counties.

One of my buddies used to work probation for sac co and now lives in west sac. He tried applying for a ccw in Yolo as he has had several run ins with some of his old probationers, one of which lead to physical confrontation with his wife and child present. Reports were taken by west sac pd and at the time of applying for a ccw, he brought in all of this info and was still denied a ccw. Needless to say once he finds out where he will be located for his new job with the state, he is planning on moving back into sac co if they keep him up here. . Good luck.
