Not a "EDC", but I have been putting together a Camelbak hydro-pack based kit for a while. A few times while in the Army, I got seperated from my gear (peace time) due to "Hey, I need a volunteer" situations while in the field. I got stuck in a few places/situations where I had to scrounge what I could until I could get back to my gear. When I go camping/hiking/off roading, my pack is with me

I'll take pics and get an itemized list together later

I've already posted this in a different thread that's since been buried, reposting it here. Also, I've since added a life straw to this bag

I love most of the Maxpedition gear, although it's expensive. I own and have experimented with all the alternate sized EDC Pocket Organizers MaxPed sells, but ultimately I have settled with their FR-1 POUCH http://www.maxpedition.com/store/pc/FR-1-Pouch-p404.htm It's not something I actually wear on a belt, but I keep it in my day to day carry bag, backpack, briefcase, murse, satchel- whatever you use. I do bring it around pretty much everywhere I go, everyday. It's by no means my BoB, it's true EDC.

I like the pouch better than the other pocket organizers, because it has legitimate space for some first aid materials and the bulkier items that don't all fit in the typical elastic bands.

Although I live in Los Angeles, and some of these items might be irrelevant to the typical urban emergency, I am also an avid backpacker and camper, this kit doubles as my systems approach to the "10 Essentials" when I'm outdoors, it's the perfect size to transfer from bag to bag.

cheers,
Gabriel80
