Question What gun-related stuff would you buy with a $1,000?

A couple of the Bay-Area radio stations are a running contest (actually it's a national contest) where you give you the key word, (4-times a day) you log on to their site and put in the key word along with your information The prize is a $1,000 dollars.

So what type of gun or gun-stuff would you buy with a $1,000?

I know the IRS takes their cut - so don't say it: no ones likes a kill-joy.

I would look to get a new $300+ scope for my Mrod. I want at least a 4-20 but prefer a x-32 x 50 scope if I can get one AND I want a camera holder so that I can shoot slo mo kill shots when I drop birds cats and squirrels.

A 20" AR-15 upper with a carry handle, and an A2 stock. I want to make an AR with the classic M16 look.

Anything left over would go towards cans/crates of Mosin ammo.

After your firearm, ammo should be your focus, when you have enough ammo then you should buy other stuff...accessories
