Talking Opinions on Bullpup Stock for AK47

Saw one from Centerfire Systems, $169, on back order, just wondering if anyone had a good experience with this:

I'm pretty sure these are the same kits produced for the Century Arms assembled AK bullpups. The OAL of the bullpup is only 27", so a muzzle extension needs to be permanently added to make it up to a legal length. Here is what they look like when built up:

i am guessing the trigger pull on those things must be like that on a saiga since the trigger linkage on a saiga has been extened too.

would a AK with a bullpup like trigger but rear normal pistol grip be legal? IDK how those kits work but it would be interesting if you could to that.

This has been hashed out before. It's the AKU-94 bullSUCK kit. Don't buy it.

Forgot to mention, you end up with terrible ergonomics and an even worse trigger pull. DON'T BUY THIS PIECE O CRAP KIT.

bullpup rifles should only take magazines that are inserted straight, rock and lock mags like the ak and ranch mini 14 are annoying with a front grip

the origional mini 14 the magazine could be shoved in since the front catch nub was springloaded like a m-14

The only quality AK Bullpup was the Norinco Type 86. I do not know of a quality conversion kit, the ones on the market leave several things to be desired. The type 86 takes any of the standard AK mags, and shoots like gangbusters. Hope this helps!

These crappy kits are ridiculous. Not only is it a permanent modification, but the quality is worse than (insert clever punchline here). I read a review on them a while ago that handed out a thorough beatdown. I dont remember where I read it, but essentially:

1: are a ***** to put together. Theirs was missing parts and instructions failed to adequately explain the job.
2: flimsy parts. Even before theirs was built pieces were breaking or falling apart.
3: crummy trigger pull. Not only was it a canyon of a squeeze, but the hook came unhinged several times and needed to be taken apart and rehooked. Not a good mod for the most reliable rifle by reputation....
4: bag ergonomics. Rifle was terribly back heavy, mag fed wierd, basically everything everyone else has said.

Stay away from it. Spend the money on another AK.
