Hey there, I have a ticket that I won't be using because I'm busy that evening now. Ordered it off Tugg before it completed.

If someone wants it I'll give it up for $5 on Paypal. I'll email the PDF of the ticket from Tugg.

Wish I could go!

I've never used Tugg before. When something's met its threshold, does that mean it's sold out, pre-orders are closed, or wha?

They have to meet a threshold for the event to take place. If you click on the link (in teh first post of this thread) you will see how many tickets are left.

BTW, if you click the link notice the big green bar that says:
This event has met its threshold and has 52 tickets left.

plus an arrow to the 'reserve your tickets' button.

:x Yeah, the "Reserve" button ain't working. I assumed it was the browsers I was using. I'll probably go to the Antioch showing anyway. I can get more people to come with me then.

A lot of people were talking so I missed the first part.

I think he was reading info on the Heller case and he said something to the extent of 'the rules are not without limits... what the f#@k does that mean?'

Great film. I hope the call to action for gun owners was clear enough. We cannot afford to have racists, extremists, or anarchists speaking for us as we attempt to improve the legislative climate.

I thought it was a good mix of this and general education for those who don't follow the history of guns in America.

Seemed like a decent turn out for a GREAT documentary. I am going to try and host viewings of this at home whenever the DVD is out or Netflix makes it available.

For how much we complain about panic raised ammo prices, people sure were willing to spend money on soda, popcorn, nachos, and candy.

Very well done! Next showing?

I announced over a local bay area public amateur radio station. They are brothers with us. Can we get more showings?

Isn't that the truth! Excuse me as I grumble about a $5 bottle of Powerade.

Great documentary and great turnout. Wife and I were sitting in the waaaay back. Kind of a throw back for us since we don't go to movies often and it was like we were back in high school (yes we're high-school sweethearts).
I'm glad there wasn't 20 minutes of pre-roll trailer BS and got straight to the doc.

Although my wife supports me and my rights regarding 2A, she had bought into the leftist, anti propaganda out there and was surprised the Pro-2A community was more than just the face of LaPiere. After hearing the parts of the 911 phone call, and the points made regarding women and self defense, she has asked me to take her to Templar on Sunday to take her HSC test. She thanked me for taking her I'm glad I was able to open her eyes to views we all have been shouting.

I was in the next to last row. There weren't any trailers either so it was nice.

kaligaran, my wife and I were in the very last row just to the right the projector room if one was looking from the bottom of the theater . I was wearing my Dead Patriot Films hat, the XXL crew T-shirt was too small for me

I wish I knew what you looked like and I could have introduced ourselves and thank you personally for coordinating the Addax lower CGF group buy. We had to leave immediately afterwards, but Ice-T's line at the end was classic.

I am interested in another screening here in San Jose as well. I was out of the country for the other showings.

Ditto--but please don't make it on the third Thursday of the month! I missed one because of that (it's the same date as our Member's Council meeting). I was out of town for the other one. Would love to see it in theater before I get the Blu-ray.

If my wife and I really are able to gain ownership of the old Burbank Theater in San Jose - we'd certainly be happy to host a showing! Although it wouldn't be till mid-2015.

So at a high level I'd say if we do gain ownership of this Historic Building, we'd certainly be happy to host any 2A or RKBA events; we are planning Live Music, Comedy, Drama and Independent Film Screenings.
