Default Which gun show will be better to go to?

There are two gun shows this weekend -one in Bakersfield and the other in Ventura. Driving distance is the same for both. Looking just for ammo.
Which one would you go to? Thanks

I can't speak for Bakersfield... but the show this weekend in Ventura is the smaller of the 2 shows (McMann/Roadrunner).

So... I guess it depends on the show in Bakersfield, maybe someone can chime in, but that's 2 hours outside Ventura County.

Roadrunner is not even worth going to I went last time they were here and they had no ammo to be found so it was kinda whack. The best ones are the crossroads guns of the west that's the bigger one and way Better

Ventura Gun Shows, Crossroads vs Road Runner. Both shows have about the same number Vendors selling firearms. They both have the same Vendors selling Ammo and gun related items, except Wholesale Ammo did not show up at last Roadrunner Show do to a short supply of Ammo. Both Crossroads and Roadrunner have a lot of swap meet vendors selling stuff that is not related to firearms, it's just that Crossroads has a lot more of them making their shows look bigger. Crossroads does a better job of promoting their Ventura Show and therefore gets a a lot more people to attend.

I disagree. Here in Ventura the Crossroads show is by far bigger. In fact, vendors both local and from out of town have stopped attending the Road Runner show and only attend the Crossroads show.

For CalGuns, we only have the booth at the Crossroads show, but I should be at least passing through the gun show this weekend and see what the current status is.

Last RR show I went to was a ghost town 25-30 vendors tops and out of those, maybe 10 had firearm related stuff. And only miwall was selling ammo and that was limited.

Just a quick update for those interested...

MiWall has apparently signed a contract with Crossroads and will no longer be attending the RoadRunner shows.

I'm not sure about LAX ammo, but I expect them to follow suit. LAX does list the Bakersfield show this weekend, not Ventura.

MiWall also shows Bakersfield for this weekend. So looks like anyone wanting to buy ammo at the show will need to make the drive to Bakersfield.
