GUEST SPEAKER: Natalie Foster -- SBMC-NRA meeting Thursday, June 6th @ 7pm
Good Day Everyone,
You are invited to attend the next General Meeting of the South Bay Members' Council(SBMC) of the National Rifle Association(NRA).
The South Bay Members' Council of the NRA is excited and proud to have Natalie Foster as our June guest speaker!!!
The explosion of women coming into the shooting sports and becoming gun owners has changed the complexion of the firearms world forever. Even the mainstream media has acknowledged the increase in women gun owners over the last few years with little indication that this trend will slow down anytime soon. As countless women were becoming first time gun owners, they needed guidance and support from other women.
Natalie Foster stood in and filled that gap by creating the website, Girl's Guide to Guns. Her website provides comprehensive information for women shooters ranging from novice to experienced. Natalie's talent and effort did not go unnoticed for too long. She has been asked to travel all over the country to meet and network with significant people within the shooting sports. This resulted in Natalie being contacted by NRA headquarters to provide occasional commentary by NRA NEWS. Her contributions were outstanding and her role has recently expanded to become the NEW ENERGY of the NRA!! One of Natalie's most notable roles was appearing on two separate episodes of the popular cable television show SONS OF GUNS. Natalie is part of a revolutionary paradigm shift that has fundamentally changed an entire industry. Best of all. . .she lives right here in Southern California!! Be sure to attend our next meeting!!
The anti-gun California politicians are in overdrive. There are a number of anti-gun bills that are making their way through the California Legislature. The bad news is that many of them are making their way through along partisan lines. The good news is that some of them have been stopped despite the anti-gun super majority in the Legislature. The battle between law abiding gun owners and anti-gun politicians continues, but we are not making easy for them. Ed Worley and our leadership wants us to know that our members are making a definite impact. We must understand that this will be a long fight and we must be willing to press our efforts. We will win some. We will lose some. But we will definitely STAND AND FIGHT!! We will update you on the latest news and inform everyone where we need to focus our efforts.
Please be sure to join us this week!
Hope you can join* us. See you all Thursday Night!!
